FURTHER PRESS RELEASE & TRIP TO STRASBOURG

Have some bits of good news!
The Dog Legislation Advisory Group have agreed to 'back' the campaign. As I
look after the Secretariat for 'it' and have the letterhead I will get
something simple drafted prior to Crufts for the Stand and website.
You may have seen in the dog press that EASBTC won a GCDS Award last Friday
so well done to them! We thought that we would seize the opportunity to flag
up BSL, therefore please find attached the press release and photo that has
gone out everywhere and should appear in dog press next week and hopefully
elsewhere. Wendy was not particularly happy with the photo of her -Tam
looks adorable as ever! - but I thought she looks fine! Please all feel free
to use on website (Martin) and in Magazines (Jean, etc..)
Finally, I can confirm that Caroline and myself will be going to Strasbourg
next Wednesday to address the Parliamentary Intergroup On Animal Welfare.
Our presentation is entitled 'Canine Breed Specific Legislation within
Europe', Theresa Villiers MEP will be introducing 'us' and we will be
discussing DDA 91 and then Germany and Domino of course, and then we will be
handing over to Harald (DDD) to give a 'first person' overview of the German
situation. There will be approximately 100 MEPs in attendance, therefore
this could be good!
