McDonalds World Cup Advertisement
I have been notified about a new advert for McDonalds. You may have already seen
it, but on TV last night they showed England Footballer, Rio Ferdinand running
through the park and then basically he is
attacked by a Stafford. The next shot shows him in McDonalds covered in bandages
and on crutches?!
It is obviously meant to be an amusing, fun piece, but this is precisely the
sort of image that leads to misunderstanding of our breed. I strongly urge
everyone to:-
a) write, e-mail or telephone McDonald's complaining about the advert
You can telephone McDonald's on 08705 244 622 (then option 3 and have a good
moan about the ad and ask for it to be withdrawn). Another number is on 020
8700 7505 (customer services).
Access their message system on

and/or write to
McDonald's Restaurants Ltd. 11-59 High Road, East Finchley, London N2 8AW
b) write to the Advertising Standards Authority to complain about the advert
