'Jack' as he has now been named is approx 5 years old and is under the care of our North West rescue

Jack had been set alight and thrown down a waste chute. The police then contacted the vets who sent the animal ambulance to get him and he has spent around three weeks at the vets hospital.  His problem is on-going as his skin is coming away from him and Jack still needs cream applying three times a day, this will need to be continued for the rest of his life, at the moment his dressings need changing every day, hopefully he will come out of the vets soon as a home has been found for him.

Barbara has set up a trust for him to help cover treatment both now and for the rest of his life.

Please contact Barbara on 01204 573942 if you would like to donate any money to his trust.

Alternatively cheques can be sent direct to SBT Welfare Treasurer, Gwen Laker.  Please mark the envelope 'Jack' and post to Shelak Kennels, Denstroude Lane, Blean, CANTERBURY, Kent

Paypal donation facility is available .

Photos of Jacks injuries and further details are, click here but please be warned that the photographs are very graphic and upsetting.

Any donations will be used soley for Jacks treatment both immediate costs and throughout his life. After which time any excess of monies will be used to benefit other Staffords in distress.
